Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT is a great way to obtain immediate relief.  This therapy is especially helpful for people who are experiencing depression, anxiety and strong emotions.  CBT focuses on how emotions, thoughts and behaviors interact  with one another to influence our experiences internally and externally.


Mindfulness encompasses many practices that focus on the mind-body connection.  Mindfulness practices are effective in regulating emotions such as anger, excessive worry and dissociation.  These practices are also wonderful for regulating the nervous system.


Psychotherapy helps individuals gain insight into relationship patterns that influence decision making in every aspect of their lives.  Because psychotherapy tends to be a longer-term therapy, it is helpful in the long-term with recognizing and interrupting unwanted unconscious patterns which influence our relationships with the environments that we occupy and our relationships with others.
