Cynthia's Approach

Cynthia intends to create a supportive space for women from all backgrounds while providing high-quality personalized therapy or coaching. Below are a few of the clinical methods she uses in working with clients.

  • Third Wave Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) combines mindfulness and CBT. CBT is an excellent approach for anxiety or depression. CBT focuses on the present (or here and now).

  • Psychotherapy is excellent for recognizing patterns that contribute to feeling stuck. Many of these patterns have their origins in spoken and unspoken messages that we receive growing up.

  • Trauma occurs when we witness or experience a severe or chronic stressor. Trauma can take many forms, which makes it challenging. Cynthia has extensive training in Trauma-informed Practices within many cultural and identity contexts.
