Frequently Asked Questions
How long can I expect to come to therapy?
It depends on your goals and what brings you in. Some people come with a specific issue they’d like to address, which may take just a handful of sessions. Others want to work through long-standing patterns or deeper concerns, which often means a longer process. Since everyone’s history and needs are unique, we’ll discuss your situation together and create a plan that feels right for you.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes, I accept Optum insurance.
What is your self pay rate?
The rate for self pay is $185. Your PPO may reimburse you for part of our sessions. Contact them to find out your reimbursement rate. I’ll complete any paperwork they need.
What if I can’t afford your rate?
Option 1:
Out of-network Insurance
If you have a PPO from (BlueShield, Aetna, BlueCrossBlueShield, Oscar, etc.) you may be able to work with me and get partially reimbursed . This could take 20% to 50% off you the self pay rate and I am happy to complete paperwork for your insurance to help make this happen for you.
Check your benefits below to see if your PPO will provide your this benefit.
Option 2:
If you’re not able to afford my full rate, I encourage you to reach out. From time to time, I have a limited number of sliding-scale spots available. If one is open, we can discuss whether it’s a good fit for your needs.
