THERAPY SERVICES
Support that
goes beyond
holding space.
I work with women navigating real, complicated life — trauma, identity, motherhood, anxiety, relationships, and all the places they intersect. Here's how I can help.
INTERGENERATIONAL & COMPLEX TRAUMA THERAPY
Trauma doesn't always look like a single event. Sometimes it's the accumulation of experiences passed down through generations — the way your mother carried herself, the things that were never talked about, the patterns you've inherited without choosing them.
As a former adjunct professor of complex trauma at USF, I bring deep clinical expertise to this work. I help women understand where their patterns come from and — more importantly — how to interrupt them.
WHAT WE WORK ON
Childhood trauma
Generational patterns
Emotional flashbacks
Body-based responses
Shame & self-blame
Hypervigilance
ADULT ADHD THERAPY
ADHD in women is chronically underdiagnosed. For decades, women were told they were "too sensitive," "disorganized," or "not trying hard enough" — when in reality, their brains simply work differently. Many women don't receive a diagnosis until adulthood, if ever.
I help women understand how ADHD shows up in their specific lives — at work, in relationships, in the mental load of daily functioning — and build practical, personalized strategies that work with—not against—your brain’s natural rhythm.
WHAT WE WORK ON
Executive function
Emotional regulation
Rejection sensitivity
Task management
Self-esteem & identity
Late diagnosis grief
ANXIETY THERAPY
Anxiety is not just nervousness or overthinking. For many women, it's the body's alarm system working overtime — often rooted in experiences of not feeling safe, seen, or in control.
I work with you to understand what your anxiety is actually trying to protect you from, not just manage the surface. The goal is lasting change — not coping tools to white-knuckle through the week.
WHAT WE WORK ON
Generalized anxiety
Perfectionism
People-pleasing
Panic & overwhelm
Social anxiety
OCD
NEW MOTHERHOOD & WORKING MOMS
New motherhood is one of the most significant identity shifts a woman can experience — and one of the least supported. The pressure to feel grateful and hold it together while running on empty is real.
I specialize in the specific pressures of professional moms: the mental load, the career identity grief, the relationship strain, the guilt that comes from wanting more than one thing at once. This is a space where you don't have to pretend you're fine.
WHAT WE WORK ON
Postpartum adjustment
Maternal identity
Career & self grief
Mental load & burnout
Relationship strain
Returning to work
RELATIONSHIP PATTERNS & DIVORCE
Relationships are where our patterns show up most clearly — the ways we've learned to attach, to protect ourselves, to give or withhold. This work goes deeper than communication tips.
I help women understand their relational patterns, grieve endings without losing themselves, and move forward with clarity about what they actually need —for themselves and for their families.
WHAT WE WORK ON
Attachment patterns
Separation & divorce
Trust & boundaries
Grief after endings
Co-parenting stress
Rebuilding identity
IDENTITY, CULTURE & LIFE TRANSITIONS
For women of color, LGBTQ+ women, and anyone navigating multiple identities at once, therapy has too often meant over-explaining yourself just to be understood. My practice was built to be different.
Born and raised in Oakland, I bring lived cultural awareness alongside clinical training. Your identity is the foundation of our work, not a barrier to it.
WHAT WE WORK ON
Racial identity & stress
LGBTQ+ affirmation
Cultural expectations
Code-switching fatigue
Life transitions
Identity & purpose
