Clinical Supervision

person with graduation cap in the back of others graduating and facing a stage.

You need more than just a check-in; you want someone who is going to help you find your clinical style, provide mentorship when needed, and support you in your growth. Being a clinician is a unique experience in that we’re often learning and practicing at the same time.

I offer clinical supervision to registered students and BBS associates. I have provided supervision for over 12 years, and associates have reported improved rapport building with clients, assessment, diagnostic skills and confidence in treatment planning.

My style is relational and supportive. I use an integrated developmental model for supervision, which means that we’ll start where you are and build your skills and style intentionally. I am also certified in several evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, Trauma-informed practices, Advanced Clinical ADHD (in progress). I also have a lot of experience working with family systems and attachment interventions. My experience spans working and supervising in schools, community mental health, and private practice.

Supervision could seem like a time and financial burden, but imagine getting support from a supervisor who is not too busy, overworked, or burnt out. Ideally, I would contract with your school or agency if they cover your supervision costs. If you’re paying out of pocket, the cost is $75 for an individual. If you are in a dyad with a peer, then the cost is $60. I offer online supervision in California and in-person in Oakland.

I would love to support you on your path to becoming a provider. Schedule a consultation to see if we’re a good fit and how I can support you.
