Therapy for Depression
The good news…depression is very treatable, and my work is dedicated to helping you find new ways to live a more joyful and connected life.
After our work together, you will feel more motivated and capable of reconnecting with the people and passions that matter most. You’ll have the tools to live in a way that feels authentic to you, to set boundaries, and to find a deeper sense of joy and connection in your life. Everyone’s journey is different, but most people start to notice a shift within a few weeks of consistent work. You might begin to feel a little lighter, have more energy, or find it easier to get out of bed in the morning.
Depression can feel like you're constantly dragging an invisible weight, making it hard to get out of bed, feel good about yourself, or fully enjoy life. Many people with depression are "functional" due to their daily responsibilities, but they live with a constant feeling of being drained and can't seem to reach the level of joy they see in others.
Your experience is unique, and our work will be too. I will get to know your specific challenges, your values, and what a "meaningful life" looks like for you. It's completely normal to feel unmotivated or struggle to apply these tools. In fact, it's part of the process.
When you feel stuck, we'll use it as an opportunity to explore what's getting in the way. We can adjust our approach, break down tasks into smaller, more manageable steps, and celebrate every small victory. My role is to be your non-judgmental partner and guide, helping you navigate these moments without shame or pressure. Request a consultation today! I'm excited to share my approach to person-centered therapy with you!
