My goal is to provide care that is both accessible and sustainable, while reflecting the depth of training, experience, and presence I bring to each session. Below you’ll find details about fees, insurance, and policies so you know what to expect before we begin. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out by email via therapy@cynthiadimon.com, and I’ll be glad to respond.
Fees & Policies
Individual Therapy
$200 per 50-minute session. Both in person therapy and online therapy are available. I offer a limited number of sliding scale appointment slots available each season.
I take a limited number of Optum/United Healthcare insurance clients (currently full). I do not accept any other insurances besides Optum/United Healthcare.
I provide superbills upon request for clients who wish to seek out-of-network reimbursement. Please check with your PPO insurance provider directly to confirm your coverage and reimbursement rates.
Groups
$85 per group meeting. Student discount is $70 per group meeting. Groups are designed as workshops and are not billed as therapy, so they are self-pay only.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of service. All major credit cards are accepted.
Cancellations
Cancellations require at least 48 hours’ notice. Sessions canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the law, health care providers are required to give clients who don’t have insurance, or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the expected charges for services. This is called a Good Faith Estimate. You have the right to receive a written Good Faith Estimate of the total expected cost of therapy services. This estimate will be provided in writing before your first scheduled session and is meant to help you anticipate and plan for the cost of your care. Please know that the actual cost may differ depending on the number of sessions you choose to attend and your individual needs. If your charges are $400 or more above the estimate, you can dispute the bill. For more information, you can visit cms.gov/nosurprises.
